He was the voice of Umigame, Gyuumao, and Mr. Satan.

Not a good few months for guys playing Mr. Satan, it seems.

He was also Bask Om in Zeta Gundam and Hiromi Yamazaki in Patlabor.

I just read about this over at Kotaku and had to check in here... I'm very sorry to hear that he passed away at such a young age. I was a fan of his work, specially Mr. Satan.

Ugh, what the hell. Daisuke was really young, too...

Umigame did always have one of the most unique voices in the series, and Mr. Satan was always a good role. Tricku da!

EDIT: Wait... according to Anime News Network, it's being looked into as a possible suicide. That does make things a little better, I guess, since that means at least one person wanted his death.
